Augmented and Virtual Reality Design

The study programme

The international Bachelor of Arts „Augmented and Virtual Reality Design“ at the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences offers an innovative, interdisciplinary and praxis-oriented curriculum which integrates relevant artistic, technological, cultural and methodological dimensions of immersive media productions. The Augmented and Virtual Reality Design programme is taught in English by a team of experienced lecturers with industry background. The faculty's resources include state of the art software and hardware, a motion capturing studio, a game and virtual reality lab, fully equipped film and sound studios and a usability lab. During seven semesters the project based programme qualifies students for careers in the growing field of design, development, producing and marketing of virtual, augmented and mixed reality applications, such as VR/AR designer, VR/AR developer, VR/AR producer.
