Hessischer Film- und Kinopreis 2024

Congratulations to our alumni Hesam Yousefi on winning the Hessischen Film- und Kinopreis 2024 in the category “Best Graduation Film” for the film "Der Friedhof der Namenlosen".

"[...] In poetic levels of image and sound, this film deals with the question of what it means to fight for justice. [...] An outstanding production and directorial achievement that traces the structural hurdles as well as the personal fates of its protagonists. [...]”, is the jury's statement.

Congratulations also to our alumna Alison Burns for her nomination in the category “Best Screenplay” for the screenplay “Out of Place”.
